Module Description
Quantitative Methods is concerned with business mathematics and statistics, which are essential tools of management. The module is designed as a comprehensive introductory course for participants whose professional works include either statistical analysis or managerial computations. The emphasis of the module is on development of skills of managers to be able to: -
- Determine the managerial information they need and how to use it.
- Be able to analyze information both statistical and computational; made available in their respective workstations.
- Develop skills in decision making using information, and choosing from available alternatives.
- The module is intended to enable participants to discern and understand Quantitative Variables in their business situations, and be able to use them with basic analytical skills to make decisions concerning their organizations.
